Fragrance-Free — What That Means for This Formula
Fragrance-free means no fragrance compounds of any kind have been added to the formula — not synthetic fragrance, not essential oils, and not masking fragrance used to cover a product's natural scent. This is different from unscented, which typically means a product may contain masking fragrance to neutralize odor while still appearing scentless.

The verified INCI list for this lotion contains no ingredient listed as Fragrance (Parfum), no essential oils (e.g. lavender, eucalyptus, or citrus oils), and no known masking fragrance compounds. The mild natural scent you may detect comes from functional ingredients such as Shea Butter and Tocopherol — not from any added fragrance.
